Our business is built on a simple idea: Virginia should benefit more  fully from one of its largest agricultural industries.By increasing local finishing, processing, distribution, and market access, we can help keep economic value in Virginia while expanding access to quality Virginia-raised beef.

We aim to help producers bring high-quality local beef to market more efficiently while supporting the long-term growth of family farms and regional processing infrastructure. Here’s how we plan to do it:

The Benefits We Deliver

Warehouse
Number 1

Increase Processing Capacity

Limited processing capacity is one of the primary constraints on Virginia’s cattle industry.

By expanding processing capacity and developing value-added products, Shenandoah Valley Foods aims to unlock more of the value already being created within the Commonwealth.

Empower Urban Consumers

While purchasing food in larger quantities directly from producers is common in rural communities, we believe that beef consumers in urban and suburban homes can benefit from this approach as well. By buying directly from trusted producers, consumers gain access to quality products, and exceptional value.

We are planning to reach urban consumers with a marketing and service program that gives them confidence in what they are buying, gives them a place to store the meat while they are waiting to eat it and helps them finance a single large food purchase.

Recognizable Quality

We are building brands that earn consumer trust through quality, consistency, animal welfare, and responsible stewardship.

Featured in respected restaurants, specialty markets, and other food destinations throughout the Mid-Atlantic, our brands will become recognizable symbols of quality and excellence.

Add Value

We add value to regionally produced beef, pork, and other meats by expanding the portfolio of products we bring to market. From gourmet sausages and specialty charcuterie to jerky, snack sticks, hot dogs, and other prepared foods, value-added production creates new revenue opportunities while maximizing the potential of every animal.

By developing a broader range of products, we can serve more customers, reach new markets, and create greater value throughout the supply chain.

Let’s build the future together

Partner with Shenandoah Valley Foods to strengthen our rural economy, sustain our agricultural heritage, and create a lasting impact for years to come.
