Jeff grew up in an Illinois farming family.  He is passionate about building community and making great food products available to local consumers from independent local producers. Jeff has led companies through periods of profitable growth and ownership transition and has worked extensively to maximize value in the animal protein industry

Matt HeavnerOperations Director

Matthew Heavner has spent the past four years successfully leading and operating T&E Meats with his partner Lauren Iverson, a USDA-inspected meat processing plant. He is focused on integrating technology into small-scale processing operations and expanding service opportunities that help local farmers grow and thrive.

Mark DotsonBusiness Director

Mark represents the business in direct sales to restaurants, wholesale, retail and foodservice channels. He is a regenerative beef producer in Shenandoah County where he is an elected supervisor. Mark is a retired Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army serving in various leadership roles related to intelligence and is a combat veteran.

Mike FergusonProduct Director

Mike leads product development for the company and advises on account sales. Having founded and worked at several regional butcher shops and cooked at Michelin-starred restaurants, he understands the value that can be developed between producers and businesses serving premium meat products to customers. Mike is known throughout the DMV area for his outstanding sausage products.

DENNIS FLEMINGChairman

Dennis organizes and coordinates the work of the Board of Managers. A long time resident of Page County, he has experience operating a successful small food market as well as working with farmers. Through his work on the Page Economic Development Authority and in many other ways, he is working to build and sustain communities in the Shenandoah Valley.

Scott HambergerVice Chairman

Scott is an entrepreneur, investor, board member, and philanthropist based in Loudon County. He operates Blue Valley Farm, which includes livestock, agritourism, controlled environment farming, and other agricultural ventures. He was a founder of Fortessa Tableware Solutions and is active as a director on numerous for-profit and non-profit boards. His board service includes work in finance, business development, and governance.

Andrea is the CEO of Hidden Creek Farm, an Organic and Humane Certified agribusiness based in Fauquier County. She serves on the building and business development committees and develops the company's strategic efforts in regenerative beef production.

BroOke Miller, MD

Brooke is a local physician in Rappahannock County. He owns and operates Ginger Hill Angus, LLC and has recently served as the President of the U.S. Cattlemen's Association. He is passionate about healthy lifestyles and eating and about helping small rural communities thrive in a changing world.

Gino resides in Fauquier County on a horse farm. He led site operations for a major aerospace company and has worked as a university educator in engineering, business, and professional skill development. An experienced electrical engineer, Gino heads the Building and Facilities board committee.

Jared is a Page County beef producer and has developed the Burner's Beef brand into a presence in regional restaurants and butcher shop sales counters known for its quality and consistency. He has recently served as the Chairman of the Page County Planning Commission.
